Bei dem nun zu testenden New England IPA "BrewDog Ellon Almost Famous" muss ich an ein Filmplakat denken. So werden die Stars "Fruity", "Hazy" und "Hoppy" präsentiert. und das bei 6,8vol.% Alkohol. Hefetrüb und goldgelb ist das Bier, der Schaum steht ganz gut darüber. Vor allem aber die Früchte kommen durch. Und diese sorgen für einen tropischen Geruch. Und Geschmack. Die ersten Sekunden sind relativ säuerlich, es hat einen sehr spritzigen Antrunk. Viel Mango und Orange kommen durch, eine subtile Süße ist ebenfalls mit dabei und sorgt für einen runden Körper. Leider ist der Alkohol etwas zu deutlich zu schmecken, dadurch entsteht eine unschöne Bittere. Da hilft dann ein neuer Schluck... Tuttifrutti ist dann angesagt. Und auch wieder eine satte Bittere. Lecker ist es aber. Vielleicht nicht ganz so innovativ, aber lecker!
