Das erste Mal haben wir einen BrewDog-Adventskalender und haben heute morgen voller Vorfreude das "BrewDog Ellon Cold Front" aus dem Türchen Nummer 1 gezogen. Dieses 4,5%ige Wiener Lager ist in einer weihnachtlichen Dose abgefüllt und eingeschenkt sieht es richtig gut aus: Ein rötliches Nass steht vor mir, der Schaum ist sehr üppig und fest, der Geruch bietet leichte Brotaromen. Geschmacklich ist es in den ersten Sekunden etwas würzig, ein Hauch Blaubeere schimmert durch, dann kommen Schwarzbrot und Kuchenteig durch. Die würzigen Aromen nehmen leicht zu, es wird leicht bitter. Aber auch die Süße wird immer intensiver, viel Karamell ist zu schmecken. Dieses Wiener ist etwas hopfenbetonter als die klassischen Biere aus Österreich. Zudem schimmert hier ganz subtil etwas Frucht mit. Das "BrewDog Ellon Cold Front" gefällt mir. Viel los für diesen Bierstil. Sieben Punkte!
