Die schottische BrewDog-Brauerei ist die erste CO2-neutrale Brauerei der Welt. Besser noch: Alles was emittiert wird, wird doppelt entfernt. So wurden dieses Jahr tausende Bäume von der Brauerei neu gepflanzt. Eine tolle Aktion! Und dem zu Ehren wurde das 4,3%ige "BrewDog Ellon Planet Pale" eingebraut. Im Glas sieht es sehr schön aus, der Schaum steht auch durchschnittlich gut darüber. Zu riechen bekommen wir eine gewisse Zitrussäure. Der Antrunk bietet viel Kohlensäure und eine Menge Zitrusaromen. Etwas Orangenschale ist zu schmecken, auch ist da ein Hauch Holunder zu schmecken. Der nächste Schluck ist leicht würzig und relativ trocken, auch ist eine leichte Bittere auszumachen. Das "BrewDog Ellon Planet Pale" ist ein Easy-to-drink-Pale-Ale. Leicht krautig ist es, subtil kommen Aromen von Wacholder durch. Das war es dann auch schon. Unterm Strich ein gutes Pale Ale.
